Reaching 1851 meters of altitude, the Rognon overhangs the pass of La Croix Haute and is situated on the limit of Isere and Drome. An earth path permits to leave from the village Lalley to get to the sheep-fold of the mountain of Aup.

On the top of the Rognon, you will find a cross, built by a group of youngers of Lalley including Guiseppe Carminatti (called Gino). It is possible to go down through the pass Lus la croix Haute. Forsee 4h of walk to reach the top starting from Lalley, and 3h to go down. You can observe the splendid view from the cross on the pictures.
