The village Clelles situated near main road 75, is known for its train station Clelles-Mens still operationnal.

Its church Sainte-Marie de Clelles (Sancta Maria de Claelis) is mentioned for the first time in history in 1123, in a bubble of the Calixte pope, among the possessions of the abbey of Saint-Ruf, located close to Valence. This abbey founded there a little church around the years 1158. Undoubtedly the building was rebuilt in the 13th century, but most of the current building dates back from the modern time.
