This village is located in the center of Trièves. Distant from the mountains and situated on a hill, Prébois has many hours of sunshine and a wonderful panorama on the mountains surrounding it. It is surely the most pleasant and auspicious place to observe Trièves at 360°.

Essentially agricultural, this village has many nicely-oriented fields, allowing the wine culture (wine of "Chirouses").

Very attached to its traditions, Prébois organizes like many villages a party called "vogue" (festival of the village) each summer.
